My name is Rafał Szczygielski, and for many years I have been fascinated by one of the oldest and most distinctive dog breeds in the world – the Mongolian Shepherd Dog, also known as the Mongolian Bankhar.
Long before our kennel was established, I spent years learning about this remarkable breed. I studied publications and historical materials, followed breeding programs abroad, watched documentaries, and explored reports from Mongolia in order to better understand the character, history, and purpose of these extraordinary dogs. The more I learned about the Mongolian Shepherd, the greater my admiration and respect for the breed became.
I was captivated by their natural strength, intelligence, independence, and the unique bond they form with humans. For centuries, these dogs have lived alongside Mongolian nomads, protecting families and livestock across the vast steppes of Asia. Their courage, loyalty, and unwavering devotion make them truly exceptional guardians.
In 2020, I established the first and only Mongolian Shepherd Dog kennel in Poland. From the very beginning, our goal has been not only to introduce this extraordinary breed to Poland but, above all, to preserve its natural traits, health, and original character.
Our kennel was founded out of passion, respect for tradition, and a commitment to protecting the unique heritage of the Mongolian Bankhar. Every dog in our care is part of this story and serves as an ambassador of the rich culture and history of the Mongolian steppes.
We are also actively involved in cooperation with the MBDP (Mongolian Bankhar Dog Project), an American-Mongolian initiative dedicated to the preservation and development of the Mongolian Bankhar breed. Through collaboration with breeders and enthusiasts from around the world, we support efforts to protect this exceptional breed and help ensure its future for generations to come.
Today, we are proud to say that our kennel is much more than a place where Mongolian Shepherd Dogs are bred. It is the realization of a lifelong passion and a dream of preserving one of the world's most ancient, remarkable, and valuable dog breeds.
Dogs from the Heart of Mongolia
The foundation of our kennel is built on dogs imported directly from Mongolia – the homeland of the Mongolian Wolfdog (Bankhar). Our dogs were acquired from Baavjii Delger, owner of the renowned Mongol Arslan Kennel, which has been dedicated for many years to preserving, restoring, and promoting the original bloodlines of this remarkable breed.
Choosing Mongol Arslan Kennel was no coincidence. It is highly respected among Bankhar enthusiasts worldwide and is recognized for its commitment to maintaining the breed’s authenticity, traditional character, and the most valuable traits passed down through generations of Mongolian guardian dogs.
Through our direct cooperation with Baavjii Delger, we have complete confidence in the origin of our dogs and access to carefully selected breeding lines. Each dog contributes not only an exceptional pedigree but also the qualities that have defined the Bankhar for centuries: unwavering loyalty, composure, intelligence, courage, and a natural protective instinct.
Our mission is to preserve these unique qualities while developing a breeding program founded on health, stable temperament, and respect for the centuries-old heritage of Mongolian guardian dogs. We are proud to continue this tradition by building our kennel upon dogs originating directly from some of Mongolia’s most respected bloodlines.
For us, these dogs are more than representatives of a rare and extraordinary breed—they are ambassadors of Mongolia’s history, culture, and remarkable canine heritage.

How Does Puppy Reservation Work?
We want every puppy to find a loving and responsible home, which is why our reservation process consists of several steps.
Puppy Reservation Process
To reserve a puppy, you will need to:
- Complete our puppy application questionnaire so we can learn more about your home and living conditions.
- Receive preliminary approval from our kennel.
- Pay a reservation deposit of 500 PLN to the designated bank account.
The deposit confirms your puppy reservation.
Puppy Pricing
Detailed pricing is discussed individually. The final price may vary depending on:
- Conformation and overall quality,
- Coat color and markings,
- Breeding or show potential,
- Individual temperament and special characteristics of the puppy.
Choosing Your Puppy
Puppies are evaluated from approximately 4 weeks of age, when their individual traits and personalities begin to develop. At this stage, we contact families on our reservation list and assist them in selecting the puppy that best matches their expectations and lifestyle.
Our goal is to create the best possible match between the puppy and its future owner, taking into account temperament, personality, and living conditions.
